Like all anniversary cars, this Trans Am featured the WS6 package and is powered by an LS1 5.7-liter Ram Air V8 backed by a four-speed automatic transmission. Thirty years before, the Trans Am debuted in the middle of the 1969 model year. Loosely based on the Firebird 400, the WS6 Trans Am package added the 335-horsepower 400 HO engine, ram air induction with special fiberglass hood, 3.55 Safe-T-Track rear, fender extractors, rear decklid airfoil, special steering wheel, Cameo White paint with Tyrol Blue stripes, and a few more options.
